The oldest surviving woodblock. The Pure Light Dharani-sutra, a small Buddhist scroll discovered at Pulguk-sa Temple in Kyongju, is believed to be the oldest surviving woodblock print in the world. Research suggests it was published around 751 A.D. with the patronage of the Silla dynasty.
